Providing a meal and light essentials for veterans in need.
STORY OF ANDREW'S LIGHT COMING SOON
On March 25, 2014 U.S. Marine Veteran Andrew Silva, was called to join the angels. Andrew was a light to many. He was a father, husband, brother, son, and a friend who shared his love for life with us all. Additionally, he shared his love for this nation with many other individuals who chose to serve our country. In memory of Andrew, Lightwork will be honoring all veterans for their light and courage.
Many veterans find themselves in social isolation after discharge. Upon return many face lack of social and financial support. This is especially challenging for those returning with illnesses such as post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). All these factors lead to veteran homelessness. For individuals who chose to defend our lives, it is in their honor and respect to aide and assist their lives.
"Where there is love there is life"
Thank you for shining your light! With love, The Silva Family
